In 1960, the Beijing 605 Factory was founded.

In 1976, undertook to research the Project of MAO Zedong’s Crystal Sarcophagus.

In 1978, invented the two-step process of ingot-making and tubing, and filled the domestic blank.

In 1985, introduced France Saint-Gobain production line with process of ingot-making by plasma and non-contact tubing to produce quartz substrate tube and jacket tube for optical fiber application.

In 2001, Quick Gem Optoelectronic S & T Co., Ltd. was established by reforming.

In 2004, the new high-load and high-power xenon lamp obtained the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award given by Shanghai Municipal Government.

In 2005, passed ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System Certification.

In 2007, QGOE, as the only one in quartz field of China, was awarded the High-Tech Industrialization Demonstration Project by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).

In 2008, our quartz jacket tube for optical fiber was awarded the Certificate of the National Key New Product by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China (MOST).

In 2009, passed ISO14001:2004 Environmental Management System Certification
